DIE HAPPY is a small, personal tour concept that provides intimate detail to profound experiences. Luxe accommodations provide rest and relaxation after days spent getting to know the real cultural and natural beauty of our destinations. We limit our tours to 14 people, who will become your new best friends. 

We seek curious and enthusiastic travelers who like to bike, hike, ride, or just embrace a little adventure in exotic and amazing locations. That love to learn, enjoy immersing themselves in unfamiliar cultures and environments, and recognize that a smile is the best greeting. Open minds, open hearts.

The intimate tours are led by founder David Butler. David has led and co-led tours of Morocco and India with his wife Amy for over 10 years. He brings a unique perspective to adventure touring based on his background as an artist and “culture-seeker.” He has 35 years of mountain biking, hiking, snowboarding experience around the globe. He “retired” from racing after winning the 24 Hour Single Speed USA Mountain Bike championship in 2007 with his team Dirt Church, but still attends the world championships around the globe. His adventuring started at age 7 as the youngest person to do a brass bell helmet dive in the Atlantic, and many broken bones later, continues to enjoy the vast experiences the world has to offer. 

DIE HAPPY isn’t an extreme sports suffering-till-you-collapse type of tour. We recognize all levels of fitness and work to accommodate enjoyment, not pressure. The idea ISN’T to die on tour! The idea is to know that one day when you look back, that you really, really LIVED.
